From Industry Professionals to Educators
ClinOrient began with a simple observation: the MENA region has a rapidly growing clinical research industry, but there's a shortage of trained professionals to fill the demand. Many talented pharmacy and medicine graduates lack access to the practical, industry-focused training needed to enter the field.
As professionals working across clinical operations, data management, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance, we decided to do something about it. We combined our collective experience to build ClinOrient — an academy that delivers the education we wish we'd had when we started our careers.
Today, ClinOrient helps professionals across the MENA region launch and grow their clinical research careers — from entry-level roles through mid-level and senior positions at leading CROs and sponsors, working remotely and office-based — with a curriculum built to grow with the industry worldwide.

Ibrahim is a clinical pharmacist and centralized monitor with hands-on experience in risk-based monitoring, centralized oversight, and clinical data surveillance across global trials. He holds an ICH-GCP E6(R3) certification, is pursuing an MSc in International Public Health, and is a published researcher. Ibrahim brings a rare combination of scientific rigor and operational depth to his teaching — translating complex regulatory and monitoring concepts into practical, career-ready skills for the next generation of clinical research professionals.
Areas of Expertise
Dr. Omar is a Doctor of Pharmacy and clinical research professional with experience across clinical pharmacy practice, academic research, and global clinical trial operations. His professional journey has included roles and projects focused on centralized monitoring, TMF management, quality and compliance, onboarding management and excellence, and process optimization. He currently serves as a Centralized Clinical Monitor at a global CRO, combining scientific expertise with a continuous improvement mindset to support high-quality clinical research and drive operational excellence across international programs.

Dr. Abdelrahman is a physician and clinical research expert specializing in evidence-based medicine (EBM), advanced statistical modeling, and the integration of artificial intelligence into clinical practice. He actively partners with leading global institutions — including Cleveland Clinic, Baylor College of Medicine, and the University of Texas — to design rigorous research protocols, manage multi-institutional databases, and advance high-impact literature in urology and beyond. A recognized contributor to the international medical community, his portfolio features landmark studies across several fields, and his rigorous approach to EBM has earned him international accolades, including Best Abstract Presentation Awards. He brings that same methodological rigor to his teaching, helping learners read, appraise, and produce research that stands up to scrutiny.
